To
take this skill it is necessary to know proportions of a human
figure. Drawing
a human figure is usual begins with drawing a vertical line. Further it
is necessary to divide the line by sides according to proportions of the
human body. On
this video we can see that the artist draw human figure a little
differently, sides of the bodies are marked already on the process of

So I got a lot of requests from people to show how to draw the torso or the figure... Well... lol. I'm not very good with those! My specialty is faces... But anyway, I tried to show how I basically do figures. I usually am using paper and they look a bit better but hopefully the general idea comes through. I start with the spine and head and ribs and pelvis, then make the arms and legs and do it all very roughly. Then I make a body out of that. On paper I let it stay really rough and then I can trace over the good lines on a clean sheet. On computer it's easier by just using layers.
I haven't had any formal training ( obviously ) so if you are good at
figure drawing and could offer advice or tips, they'd be welcome. :)
